“Change is an inevitable part of life, and great things can come from leaning into change and evolution. From my own experience and from my work with clients over the past 20 years, I know that immense positive growth and fulfillment can develop from a quarterlife crisis."Christine, Founder and Director of the Quarterlife Center, is a psychotherapist with two decades of experience providing therapy to quarterlife clients. In her twenties, she experienced her own quarterlife crisis, which involved a breakup and a decision to move from SC to NYC. Her quarterlife crisis motivated her to closely examine who she was and how she could create a fulfilling life for herself and be a positive influence on her loved ones and community.
This journey inspired her to help others successfully navigate the challenging and exciting experiences of young adulthood. She enjoys helping quarterlifers thrive and live more intentionally as they make important choices about relationships, careers, and their place in the world.
Christine also provides therapy to family caregivers of Alzheimer’s patients, to help them manage challenges they face as a caregiver and to decrease caregiver burden and stress. Her doctoral dissertation at NYU focused on counseling approaches for family caregivers of Alzheimer’s patients. She has conducted research and published articles on late-onset and early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, including this article from the American Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias.
Christine grew up in Greenville, SC, and enjoyed working as a travel writer in Spain and as a development director for a symphony in SC, before becoming a psychotherapist. She is fluent in Spanish and has expertise working with clients internationally. In her free time, Christine enjoys hosting gatherings for family and friends, traveling internationally, playing tennis and piano, and taking power naps. She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and two children.
